A 24 V PoE Injector is a small device that injects power and data into a single Ethernet cable. Instead of plugging devices into a wall outlet for power and separately wiring network/data cables, the injector sends both electricity (24 V DC) and data over the same Ethernet cable. This simplifies installation — especially for devices mounted where power outlets are not easily accessible (e.g. rooftop wireless access points, external CCTV cameras).
